Nikolai Torgersen (b. 1990) is a Norwegian artist with a degree from Einar Granum Art College. Torgersen's art consists of, among other things, drawings, paintings, digital prints and sculpture, and the works often have an interesting mix of realism and abstraction.
Torgersen's suffered from anxiety, depression, intoxication and suicidal thoughts large parts of his life. In the autumn of 2020, however, Torgersen was became sober, and since then he's become one of the most interesting artists on the Norwegian art scene.
His works often appear in series, which Torgersen himself explains is governed by a personal need for a narrative.
